What If Being Seen Costs Your Safety — But Hiding Costs Your Soul?
I’m writing from the place where fear and longing blur — maybe you’ve been there too.
This is one piece from a longer work-in-progress called The Myth of Self-Becoming — a series of reflections tracing the contradictions of what it means to be seen, to hide, to perform, to long, and to dissolve.
Sometimes what I call “vulnerability” is just performance.
Sometimes what I give is just what I’ve already learned how to survive.
But the kind of exposure I long for can’t be rehearsed. It’s not just romantic, it’s spiritual.
This piece is an attempt at naming that hunger.
